Do you provide personal care or medical care?

No. We are strictly non-medical.

We do not provide:
• Personal care.
• Medical or nursing care.
• Medication support or administration.
• Any regulated health or social care activities.

Our service is companionship-based only.

Our service is available to adults aged 18 and over, including individuals with physical, sensory, learning, or mental health disabilities.
We do not provide services to children or young people under 18.

No. We are not regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), as we do not provide regulated care services.
Rasogie Companionship & Befriending Service CIC is a Community Interest Company (CIC) regulated by the UK Government’s Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies (Companies House).
We operate for community benefit and reinvest surplus income into improving our services.

Yes. All companions are carefully selected and hold enhanced DBS checks.
We follow safeguarding procedures, professional boundaries, and ongoing oversight to ensure safe and appropriate support.

Yes. We welcome referrals from individuals, families, carers, professionals, and community organisations.

We provide non-clinical emotional and social support as part of our companionship service.
We do not provide therapy, counselling, diagnosis, or clinical treatment, but we may signpost to appropriate services where needed.

We are based in the City of Manchester and primarily support individuals within this local authority area.
