Our services are strictly non-clinical and companionship-based. We do not provide personal care, medical care, or any regulated health or social care activities.

Safeguarding & Compliance:
Rasogie Companionship & Befriending Service CIC is a non-medical Community Interest Company providing companionship and social
support for adults aged 18 and over, including adults with disabilities.
We are not regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as we do not provide regulated health or social care activities such as personal care, nursing care, or medical support.
Rasogie Companionship & Befriending Service CIC is a Community Interest Company (CIC) regulated by the UK Government’s Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies (Companies House).
We operate for community benefit and reinvest any surplus income into improving our services.

• Verification of suitability for the role.
• Ongoing suitability reviews.
We only recruit individuals who demonstrate compassion, reliability, and professionalism.
Training & Staff Standards
All companions are expected to work to high standards of conduct and professionalism.
We ensure staff:
• Understand safeguarding adults procedures
• Maintain clear professional boundaries
• Respect privacy, dignity, and independence
• Follow reporting procedures for concerns
• Receive ongoing guidance and support
Reporting Safeguarding Concerns
If a safeguarding concern arises, it will be taken seriously and acted upon immediately.
We will:
• Record concerns appropriately.
• Report concerns to the relevant safeguarding authority where required.
• Work in partnership with local safeguarding teams.
• Take immediate action if someone is at risk of harm.
The safety and wellbeing of individuals always comes first.
Risk Management & Safety
We take reasonable steps to ensure safe delivery of companionship support.
This includes:
• Basic risk awareness during visits.
• Safe lone-working practices.
• Emergency contact procedures.
• Clear boundaries around non-medical support.
Our service does not provide personal care or clinical interventions.
Complaints Procedure
We welcome feedback as it helps us improve our service. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, you can contact us directly.
We will:
• Acknowledge your complaint.
• Investigate fairly and promptly.
